The mission of the MDO program is to minister to the needs of the children and parents of Oakwood Church and the surrounding community in a loving, nurturing environment in which the children can grow and learn spiritually, physically and scholastically.

Who we are

Oakwood offers MDO for children ages 6 months through Pre-Kindergarten.

September through May
Tuesday and Thursday | 9:00am–2:30pm
Children must be 6 months by September 1st.
All children in 3 & 4 year old classrooms must be potty trained.

MDO follows the recommendations of NBISD when considering closing for inclement weather.

Important Dates

2026-2027 Wait List Information
The new wait list will begin on Monday, February 16th. This year there will be a form that must be filled out in order to be added to the new wait list. Please check back to this page on February the 9th for the link to the form. Then you can fill out the form and return it back to us no earlier than February 16th.

Spots are very limited, especially in our toddler classes. All spots will be filled by March 5th but the wait list will be used for any spots that open up during the rest of the year or the summer.

Availability

All classes for the 2025-2026 school year are full. To be added to the wait list, please email Kim Cloud. We need your child’s name, date of birth, parents name and phone number

Tuition and Fees

Registration Fee $200.00 per child
We accept cash or card (Card payments can only be made through the PAY TUITION link below.) All registration fees are non-refundable.

Tuition for the 2026-2027 school year:
1 child- $250 per month
2 children- $500 per month
3 children- $700 per month
